The best of both worlds! The Bar-Lev High-Tech Park is located in the heart of the Galilee but is easily accessible from the largest cities in the North of Israel. Within travelling distance of 10 - 30 minutes from the Park, you will find an urban population numbering 750,000 people. For comparison, the Tel Aviv-Jaffa metropolis has 420,000 residents!

As part of the major infrastructure investment underway in Israel’s Northern Region, a number of new roads are currently under construction. These include: the bypass road around the Krayot suburbs (Route 22), which shortens the journey time between Haifa’s coastal metropolis and the Park to 30 minutes; the renewal of several local junctions; and the extension of Route 6. By the end of 2016, Route 6 will reach Somech Junction, 10 minutes from the Park, and a few years later it is expected to reach the Park with its extension to the Cabri Junction.

At the same time, a new rail track is being laid from Acco to Karmiel, including a new rail station at the entrance to the Bar-Lev Park. The track should be completed by the end of 2016, adding significant improvements to the accessibility of the Park from all the coastal cities, from Hadera in the south to Nahariya in the north, including Haifa and the Krayot suburbs, as well as Karmiel and its surrounding towns.

Four of Israel’s leading academic institutions are located within easy reach of the Park. The Haifa Technion, Haifa University, Western Galilee College (a satellite of Bar-Ilan University), and leading engineering school ORT Braude Karmiel Technical College. Over 40,000 students are studying at these schools, including 10,000 BA engineering students. Companies in the Bar-Lev High-Tech Park will enjoy a significant local advantage over employers in the center of the country when recruiting these students.

There are four hospitals within half an hour’s journey from the Park - Rambam and Bnei Zion (Rothschild) in Haifa, Ziv in Tzfat, and the Western Galilee Hospital in Nahariya. Two of these (Rambam and Ziv) are university hospitals. Companies that specialize in medical and bio technologies will have easy access to the best medical researchers, professionals and students in the country.

Israel’s Northern region offers diverse residential options in its large and small cities, towns, kibbutzim and village communities of different types. Within 15 minutes’ drive from the Park there are 30 villages in the communal frameworks of the Misgav Regional Council and the Asher District. The popular communities of Kfar Vradim, Alon HaGalil, Timrat, Shimshit and Givat Ela are each 25 minutes from the Park. Every family will find its ideal home in this area, in an environment that offers one of the best educational systems in Israel, and an unparalleled diversity and quality of life.
