In this role, you will help us build our data-driven decision support and prediction systems.
We aim to make smarter decisions and forecasts based on a diverse range of data sources and models — meteorological, site sensors and robot
Your primary focus will be in applying data mining techniques, doing statistical analysis using various meteorological/physical models, exploring machine learning algorithms and building prediction systems to integrate with our products.
The company’s R&D center hiring for the position is located in Bar-Lev Industrial Park, with HQ in Tel Aviv and New Delhi, India.

We are looking for a highly analytical and experienced person, that will be able to implement both research and development aspects of the tasks. It includes:
Creating empirical definitions, physical models investigation, models development and deployment.
Collecting data from various sources, cleansing and verifying its integrity.
Transforming data into an analysis appropriate format, selecting features, building and optimizing classifiers and predictive models using machine learning (ML) techniques.
Deploying ML models to production environments, while constantly tracking their performance and accuracy.
Defining data collection requirements for the Robots and Sensors in the field
Key skills and qualifications:
BSc/BA in either exact sciences or engineering
3-5 years of relevant industry experience
Good applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc.
Excellent understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms.
Experience in implementing data mining and data analysis methods, using a variety of tools.
Some data engineering and data wrangling skills, including scripting and programming experience.
Proficiency in common data science tools, languages and databases (e.g. Python, R, SQL)
Ability to independently explore physical models (such as weather and Solar PV energy generation), adapt, implement and deploy them
Assertiveness and good communication skills.
Ability to work independently
Very good oral and writing technical English skills
Graduate degree in Data Science, Geophysics, or other
Working knowledge with data science cloud tools, such as Amazon Sagemake
Experience in the Solar industry with an understanding of soiling, weather and PV power generation
Experience with data based predictive maintenance models
