Technical Support Engineer (Tier 1)
Haifa, Israel
We are looking for a junior engineer who is passionate about technology and learning about the challenges associated with security and compliance in open-source software. The ideal candidate is innately curious, has excellent communication skills and high aptitude, and a desire to quickly learning new leading-edge technologies used in today’s SDLC practices.

In this role, you will provide support services to WhiteSource customers and prospects by assisting with license and source code matching resolution queries, troubleshooting and reproducing issues, devising workarounds, and escalating complex investigations to senior staff and other departments.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
Experience working with Windows/Linux operating systems.
Knowledge or exposure to development environments (e.g. Java, JavaScript, Python, NET)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Outstanding communications skills in English (written and verbal)
Willing to work flexible hours as requested to cover continental US time zones.
Working days- Monday-Friday
Considered a plus:

Knowledge of open-source software practices.
Experience with SDLC and DevOps tools (e.g. GitHub, Azure DevOps, Jenkins)
Knowledge of SaaS environments (e.g. AWS, MS Azure)
